This is how I will be spending tomorrow, remembering Mac Miller’s genius, and I hope some of you will enjoy this as much as I have. I find that for this version of the documentary, its best to start WMWTSO at the 0:45 (45 second) mark, with the documentary on mute. If anybody has a link to the HD documentary I will update the post. Unfortunately the HD full documentary was removed from public streaming some time ago. I have the link to the low-definition version of Turtle: The Incredible Journey here. ![]() However, I think everyone in this sub could appreciate setting aside an hour and 15 minutes to watch a beautiful nature documentary set to the sounds of WMWTSO. Some songs seem to match up perfectly with the documentary while others don’t fit quite as well. ![]() Similar to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and “The Wizard of Oz”, WMWTSO seems to vaguely follow the story of “Turtle.” The second studio album from Mac Miller, Watching Movies with the Sound Off is available exclusively at UO in a limited 3k run of red splattered clear vinyl. ![]() There’s a football game on, but Mac also likes nature documentaries like Birds of the Gods. When Watching Movies with the Sound Off was released, Mac had hinted that the track order and some of the production was intentionally altered to match up with the nature documentary “Turtle: The incredible Journey”. About Watching Movies With the Sound Off A flat-screen TV flickers silently on the wall. Edit: courtesy of u/AndyNoribs the mixed version of WMWTSO and Turtle: the incredible Journey.
